In 2016, Steven Connell had a vision to create a supporters group for all the fans that traveled from Sarasota/Bradenton to watch the Tampa Bay Rowdies in downtown St. Petersburg. After sharing that plan with Ian Linn, the two started recruiting people and building a solid base of supporters. Now, just 2 years into the groups infancy, the group is a member of the nationally recognized Independent Supporters Council and has grown to a roster of 50+ members. 

The Skyway Casuals is a social group that welcomes anyone that travels over the Sunshine Skyway for home matches to join us for tailgates and away day watch parties.

Our home pub for away day watch parties is The Shamrock Pub located on Ringling Blvd. in downtown Sarasota.
